Orion mPulse
The mPulse power settings range from 1.0ws to 30ws in 1ws increments, with 27 different power settings to choose from. The smallest setting produces weld joints close to 1mm in size, depending on the material you are welding. The maximum setting of 30ws produces a joint approximately 1.5mm in diameter, again depending on the material you are welding.
The mPulse is perfectly compatible with gold, silver and many other metals. It is an excellent alternative for any soldering application; with dimensions of only 25x30x40 cm, the mPulse takes up virtually no space on your workbench.
Our customers use the mPulse 30 for a variety of applications. Many glass frame repair stores can now repair broken titanium frames. Small scratches are easily smoothed out with the mPulse's wire and a ring of weld. With the Sunstone Orion mPulse welder, any small metal work is made easier.

How does it work?
Electrical energy - plasma discharge
Micro TIG/Pulse Arc Welding utilizes electrical energy to produce a plasma discharge. The high-temperature plasma melts the metal within a small spot. The entire process takes only a few milliseconds to complete. The process is clean and easy to control, making it ideal for complex and delicate welding applications on both precious and non-precious metals! Filler metals can also be added to build the joint, creating a strong and reliable weld channel or seam.
The fundamentals of the Orion Welding System are very simple.
1.) Installation of grounding clips
2.) Use a specialized microscope focused on the tip of the welding electrode.
3.) The weld is triggered by simply touching the workpiece to the electrode.
